Hello, and welcome! My name is Charity Hegglund. A little about myself--I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Midwestern State University in 2011 and became licensed as a professional counselor in 2012. I have extensive experience in marriage/family and Christian counseling as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I work with adults, couples, families, and older teens (14-19 years of age). As an RN, I'm especially aware of how the mental and physical health issues often overlap and therefore, I take a holistic approach to counseling, focusing on both the mind and body.
